فرشتے کہہ رہے ہیں پروردگار سے
سورج شکست کھا گیا ہے روزہ دار سے
“The angels are saying to the Lord
The sun has been set by the one who observes fasting”
لوگ ایسے بھی غم یار سے لگ جاتے ہیں
در سے اٹھتے ہیں تو دیوار سے لگ جاتے ہیں
“People also get attached to sorrowful companions
When they rise from the ground, they cling to the wall”
اگر قسمت کا لکھا ہی سب کچھ ہوتا
تو اللہ پاک کبھی ہمیں دعا مانگنا نہ سکھاتا
“If everything were determined by fate
Then Allah Almighty would never teach us to pray”
صرف رب ہی وہ شہنشاہ ہے
جو مانگنے پر خوش اور نہ مانگنے پر خفا ہوتا ہے
“Only God is the sovereign
Who is pleased when asked and not displeased when not asked”
ہدایت اور اللہ کی محبت دو ایسی چیزیں ہیں
جو انسان کو مانگے بغیر نہیں ملتی
“Guidance and the love of Allah are two things
That a person does not receive without asking”

ہر دل میں یاد تیری ہر لب پر نام تیرا
پوشیدہ ہو کہ ظاہر سب پر مقام تیرا
“In every heart, there is a remembrance of you; on every lip, there is your name
Whether hidden or manifest, your place is upon everything”
تو یاد آئے گا تیری فضائیں یاد آئیں گی
اے رمضان ہمیں رب کی عطائیں یاد آئیں گی
“You will be remembered, your blessings will be remembered
O Ramadan, we will remember the gifts of our Lord”
جب اللہ کن فرمائے گا
پھر آپ کی کوئی بھی دعا فیکون سے محروم نہیں رہے گی
“When Allah commands
Then none of your prayers will be deprived of fulfillment”
جو چاہئے سو مانگیے اللہ سے دعا
اس در پہ آبرو نہیں جاتی سوال سے
“Ask Allah for whatever you desire
On this doorstep, honor is not lost by asking questions”

جب آپ کا دل بغیر کسی وجہ کے اداس رہنے لگے
تو سمجھ لیں کہ آپ کی روح اللہ کا ذکر مانگ رہی ہے
“When your heart starts feeling sad without any reason
Understand that your soul is seeking the remembrance of Allah”
یا اللہ جو بھی تیرے نام لینے والے پریشان ہے
اس پیارے دن کے صدقے سب کی پریشانیوں کو دور فرما
“O Allah, whoever is troubled by calling upon Your name
In the blessings of this beloved day, alleviate everyone’s worries”
زمانے کا سہارا تو بظاہر ایک دکھایا ہے
حقیقت میں مجھے میرا خدا گرنے نہیں دیتا
“The support of the world seems to be apparent
In reality, my God does not let me down”
حسن یوسف کو دیکھ کر وہاں کئی تھی انگلیاں
خود چاند کٹ گیا یہاں انھی (ص) کو دیکھ کر
“Seeing beauty of Yusuf, there were many fingers pointing
Here, even the moon was eclipsed upon seeing (peace be upon him)”
چن لے مجھے بھی اپنے سجدے کرنے والوں میں اے اللہ
کب تک بھاگتار ہوں گا تجھ سے تیری ہی دنیا میں
“Choose me also among those who prostrate to You
O Allah, How long will I keep running from You in Your world?”
تمھارے ہاتھ کی دستک کی آس میں محسن
میں اپنے گھر سے کہیں بھی نہیں گیا برسوں
“In the hope of the touch of your hand, O Benefactor
I did not go anywhere from my home for months”

صبر کے ساتھ اس کے فیصلوں کا انتظار کرو اور بے فکر ہو جاؤں
“Wait for His decisions with patience and be carefree”
مصیبت کا مقابلہ صبر سے کرو
اور نعمتوں کی حفاظت شکر سے کرو
“Face adversity with patience
And safeguard blessings with gratitude”
مجھے بہترین نہیں چاہیے بس وہ چاہیے
جس میں میرے رب کی رضا ہو
“I don’t want the best;
I just want What brings the pleasure of my Lord”
اشک تو پلکوں پر سب نے دیکھ لیے
گزار رہی ہے جو دل پر وہ کوئی کیا جانے
“Tears are seen by everyone on the eyelashes
But who knows what is passing in the heart”
، جنہیں یقین ہو مقدر لکھنے والے پر
انجام سے گھبرایا نہیں کرتے وہ
“Those who have faith in the one writing destiny
Do not worry about the outcome”

ہم کو اللہ کے قریب بنائے
“O Ramadan, elevate our souls
Make us close to Allah”
خودی کو کر بلند اتنا کہ ہر تقدیر سے پہلے
خدا بندے سے خود پوچھے بتا تیری رضا کیا ہے
“Elevate yourself to such an extent that before every destiny
God Himself asks the person, “Tell me, what is your wish?”
دنیا جس کو ماں کہتی ہے ذات بڑی بابرکت ہے
ماں ایسی ہستی ہے جس کے قدم کے نیچے جنت ہے
“The world, which is called ‘mother,’ is a blessed entity
A mother is such a being beneath whose feet lies paradise”
میں کیسے مان لوں کہ کوئی میرا نہیں رہا
جب تک خدا کی ذات ہے تنہا نہیں ہوں میں
“How can I believe that no one is mine
As long as God exists, I am not alone”
توبہ کی اُمید پر ہو چکے بہت گناہ یارب
مہلت تو مل رہی ہے توفیق بھی عطا کر
“O Lord, relying on the hope of repentance, I have committed many sins
While respite is granted, bestow upon me the blessing of success”
پارساؤں کے جہاں میں اسے دل
اک تو اور میں ہی خراب نکلے اور
“In the world of strangers, he won my heart
One more reason for my ruin emerged”
بہت سکون ہے اس میں جسے لوگ نماز کہتے ہیں
“There is great tranquility in what people call prayer”
دنیا والے چہرے اور مال کو دیکھتے ہیں
عرش والا دل اور اعمال کو دیکھتا ہے
“People see faces and wealth of the worldly
The Lord of the Throne sees hearts and deeds”

دنیا تیری بدل دے جو وہ سجدہ تلاش کر
“Centuries have passed in your prostrations
The world will change for you if you seek that moment of prostration”
زندگی سب کچھ دے کر بھی
کسی نا کسی چیز کے لیئے فقیر بنا کر ہی رکھتی ہے
“Even after giving everything in life
It still keeps something to become poor for someone or something”
جیسے نوح کی کشتی میں ابن نوح نہیں آیا
ویسے ہی میرے حصے میں اے یار تو نہیں آیا
“Just as the son of Noah did not come on Noah’s Ark
Similarly, my fate did not bring you, O friend”
صرف جائے نماز وہ جگہ ہے
جہاں رو لو تو سامنے والا تماشا نہیں بناتا
“The prayer mat is a place where
if you bow down, it doesn’t create a spectacle for the onlooker”
ہے میرا مقصد ” تیری عبادت ” ، عذاب کیسا ؟ ثواب کیسا ؟
گنوں میں کیوں کسی کے دانے ؟ محبتوں میں حساب کیسا؟
“My purpose is “Your worship.” What about punishment? What about reward?
Why count the grains in sins?
How to calculate in acts of love?”
خرد نے کہہ بھی دیا لا الہ تو کیا حاصل
دل و نگاہ مسلمان نہیں تو کچھ بھی نہیں
“Reason may have declared, “There is no god,” but what’s achieved?
Without a Muslim heart and gaze, there’s nothing at all”
رب سے مانگ کر دیکھو تو سہی ایک وہی تو ہے
جو حقیقت میں آپ کا منتظر ہے
“Ask from the Lord, and see, there is only one
Who is truly awaiting you”

صاف نیت سے مانگا جائے تو
رب نصیب سے بھی زیادہ دیتا ہے
“When asked with a pure intention
God gives more than what is destined”
کون کہتا ہے کہ خدا نظر نہیں آتا
و ہی تو نظر آتا ہے جب کوئی نظر نہیں آتا
“Who says that God is not visible?
He is visible when nothing else is”
آتش دوزخ نہ دیکھ غضب سے مجھ کو
بڑا رحیم ہے وہ جس کا گناہ گار ہوں میں
“Do not show me the fire of Hell, O Lord, in anger
For He is Most Merciful, even though I am a sinner”
شکر کرو اس غم کا جس نے تمہیں خدا والا بنا دیا
“Be thankful for the sorrow that made you godly”
تم ایمان تو رکھو اللہ پر
وہ بہتر لے کر بہترین دیتا ہے
“Have faith in Allah, He takes and gives in the best way”
یاء تو کر کیسے پانے کا بیاں شاں اُن کی
جن کی شان میں اترا تو کلام خدا بھی
“How can one describe the glory of those
Whose glory is such that even the words of God bow down in reverence?”
آزمائش بھی اللہ کی طرف سے تمہارے لئے
یقین کا امتحان ہوتا ہے
“Even trials are a test of faith sent by Allah for you”
کہیں خوف ہے کہ اللہ دیکھ رہا ہے
کہیں اطمینان ہے کہ اللہ دیکھ رہا ہے
“Somewhere there is fear that Allah is watching
Somewhere there is reassurance that Allah is watching”
